2011 Season Breaking News: The Mount Airy Bulldogs welcome two new teams to the MVYFL - the South Hagerstown Jr. Hubs and the North Hagerstown Rebels! Our league continues to grow and flourish.
We are PROUD to be one of the founding football programs of the Mountain Valley Youth Football League. All contact games are officiated by experienced and professionally trained referees from the Frederick County Football Officials Association.

A special thanks goes to the Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Department and the Town of Mt. Airy for their continued support of the Bulldog Football and Cheer Program.
The Bulldogs are fortunate to have a newly renovated home field with lights, which allows us to host 4 - 5 regular season home games, including some night games, as well as postseason playoff games*, DII Bowl series games** and Superbowl***.
In early August, to prepare our players for the regular season, our football coaches and players have the opportunity to play pre-season scrimmages as well as participate in various state wide invitational jamborees. These additional game-like competitions provide our coaches and players the chance to experience competing with other Maryland football programs/leagues outside of the MVYFL. We may be a small league in terms of total teams, but we ALWAYS more than hold our own no matter who we face. We never shy away from good competition, and opposing teams have nothing but good things to say about our players, coaches and fans! Great football is great football, and that's what we teach!

* Weights in the above chart represent maximum weights for all position players and interior line players per age/level. If a player, for example, is 8 years old and weighs 110 lbs, they would either need to loose 5 pounds to play an interior line position on Mini-Pony or would need to play up a level on Pony. Weight rules for each level are for the safety of the players.
