Updated 7/29: ONLINE REGISTRATION REMAINS OPEN FOR ALL 2010 BULLDOGS FOOTBALL TEAMS (No late fees!!!)
Our numbers are UP, but there's always room for more.....www.mayaasports.org
(link above will take you to our secure online registration website)
Out of consideration for our families in these troubled economic times, we have not raised registration fees this year! Flag Football is still $75 and Contact Football is $125. These fees include all equipment (except cleats/cup) and uniforms. New players have a $50 ONE TIME helmet fee which offsets the cost of annual reconditioning & recertification of the Riddell Revolution Helmets by the manufacturer (Varsity 8th Graders do not pay the helmet fee).
Come play with Mount Airy's #1 Home Team, The Mount Airy Bulldogs! We always welcome newcomers and returning Bulldog players & cheerleaders. The Mount Airy Bulldog Football program provides top notch football instruction to area youth and currently has players from all four surrounding counties: Carroll, Frederick, Howard and Montgomery.
Just take a glance at our many titles and championships, as they truly represent the success of the Bulldog Football Program and all its current & previous Bulldog players and coaches.
With the support and dedication of great coaches, fans and families, our players truly have fun, make lifelong friendships and create lasting memories all while playing the great game of Football. Bulldog players go on to excel in all the respective local public and private High School Football and Cheer programs.
We are proud to be called Bulldogs and welcome all to our ever growing Bulldog Family!
We had great turnout at our in-person registrations. Thanks to CarterQue and Mount Airy Middle School for allowing us to use these locations so our returning & new parents and players would have plenty of opportunities to sign up and meet with our coaches & families. The Bulldogs are proud to support and be supported by our local businesses and community!

Policy for 6 Year Olds regarding Mini Pony
IF REGISTRATION IS BELOW 25 PARTICIPANTS, THERE WILL BE SPACE AVAILABLE UP TO 28 TOTAL PLAYERS.
- All 6 year olds will be registered as Flag.
- Those that are interested in trying out for Mini Pony DII, must contact the head coach to be placed in the tryout group to be evaluated.
- They will not receive equipment at equipment handout. Instead, they will come to the Evaluation Period (July 22, 23; 24) where they will be issued helmets only. (Must show up at MAYAA Fields at 4 PM on the 22nd to get helmet.)
- They will then be worked through the Mini Pony DII practices to see how they handle the step up in competition and athleticism. Each night, coaches will be expected to summarize their observations and share with the Head Coach.
- By noon the next day, the Head Coach should have contacted the parents (email or phone) to let them know if they are "At Level", "Above Level" or "Below Level". These factors are Maturity, Athleticism, Football Acumen (knowledge and ability).
- If they score "At Level" or above by end of practice Friday, they will be invited to participate in the Shoulder Pads and Helmet practice on Saturday.
- At the conclusion of that practice, the weekend will be used to conclude the evaluation of the players - to include the number of 7 and 8 year olds that have first priority.
